Paediatric Hematology-Oncology Interest Group

Our interest group explores the interdisciplinary specialty of paediatric hematology-oncology, which encompasses a diverse array of diseases and treatments. In addition, we aim to explore the socioemotional aspects of paediatric blood disorders and cancers which have an immense impact on both children and their families, and are quite unique to the specialty due to the chronic nature of most of these disorders and diseases and the young age of the patients. We will collaborate with community organizations that offer respite services to kids and families to connect students with further opportunities and learning.
