Nephrology Interest Group (AKA Schulich Salts)

The nephrology interest group aims to allow students additional opportunities to explore and learn about nephrology! We will host events to allow students to hear from nephrologists about their journey to the specialty, allowing students to network with them and seek out research opportunities. We will also host events supporting National Kidney Month, fundraising for The Kidney Foundation of Canada. We anticipate that our largest event will be Dr. Rehman’s Showdown in the Downtown—on behalf of the class of 2026, we will run a fundraiser leading up to the event and sort out the logistics of the event. Where nephron enthusiasts unite! Our interest group provides an insight into the specialty of nephrology!
