Extreme Environments Medicine Club (EEMC)

The EEMC strives to provide Schulich students with an inside look as to how healthcare is provided in the most austere environments. Whether it be performing surgery in space, ALS on top of a mountain, resuscitation on a moving helicopter, or maintaining mental health on a submarine – the field of EEM is broad and exciting! Join us for exciting talks with healthcare professionals who tackle these problems everyday. Hear about thrilling future career and research opportunities that you can be a part of! Participate in simulations and work with your peers to overcome some of the same barriers that EEM healthcare professionals face! We want to show you how EEM is truly a frontier of medicine and how lessons from it can be applied to your own future practices.
